Karnah, Sept 18: Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Karnah, Javid Ahmad Mirchal, on Thursday conducted an extensive tour of the lower and middle belt of Karnah to assess developmental progress and interact with the public.
During the visit, Mirchal interacted with students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Chanipora, Zone Chamkote. He encouraged the students to pursue education with dedication, assuring them that the government remains committed to strengthening school infrastructure and providing better opportunities for young learners, especially girls.
Later, the MLA held a brief but significant meeting with the Sub-Divisional Controller (SC) of PHE, Jal Shakti, at Dakbanglow Tangdar. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Karnah.
Mirchal stressed on timely execution of works and assured the public that all pending JJM projects would be completed soon, ensuring functional tap water connections for every household in the constituency.
The day-long tour reflected Mirchal’s continued focus on both education and essential amenities in Karnah, aimed at bridging infrastructural gaps and addressing long-pending demands of the people.
