Beirut, Sept 17: Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General Naim Qassem on Tuesday marked the first anniversary of the Pager Operation, paying tribute to its victims and describing them as the “light” and “heartbeat” of the resistance.
“Pager victims, you are the light by which we see the safe path. You are the life that gives the true heartbeat to keep going. What can I say to you—when you are the teachers and guides of the way, you are the ones who gave to everyone,” Qassem said in a commemorative address.
He emphasized that their sacrifices continue to inspire the movement’s struggle, portraying the victims as role models whose legacy strengthens Hezbollah’s resolve against Israel.
The Pager Operation, carried out last year, remains one of Hezbollah’s symbolic markers of confrontation in its ongoing conflict with Israel. The anniversary was observed with solemn ceremonies and renewed vows of resistance.
