Telecom Services Face Major Disruptions in Valley

Srinagar, Aug 27 (TKG): Telecom services across the Valley witnessed massive disruptions over the past two days, leaving subscribers in distress.

According to reports, mobile and internet connectivity was completely snapped yesterday and remained suspended for nearly 22 hours before being restored  today afternoon.However, the relief was short-lived as services again went down for about three hours today, triggering confusion among users.

Officials have not issued any formal statement regarding the repeated blackouts, though sources suggest the disruptions were linked to technical glitches in the network. Services have now been restored, but the frequent outages have caused inconvenience to students, businesses, and general users who rely heavily on digital communication.

Residents have urged the authorities and telecom operators to ensure uninterrupted services, particularly at a time when connectivity is vital for daily life and work.
